As a director, Ken has a key role in the strategic management and development of the business. and works closely with the Box senior management team.
Ken oversees the project output of the practice and ensures the commerciality, deliverability and quality of our projects is maintained. He is responsible for the people and resource management within the Leeds studio. A principle point of contact for many of the practice’s key clients, Ken is responsible for developing and strengthening new and existing client relationships to deliver the strategic growth goals of the practice.
With over 25 years’ experience in private architectural practice, Ken brings a wealth of experience across a wide range of sectors to Box Architects. Having previously held a director’s position with one of the region’s largest private practices for more than 12 years, he has extensive client, contractor and professional contacts (including funding institutions) which together can assist clients in the delivery of any new project.
He has extensive experience in most project sectors, including residential, commercial office, health, care, industrial, leisure and mixed use.
Key projects include prestigious schemes for large national and international businesses, including national and European headquarter facilities, complex buildings (such as national data centres), large mixed-use redevelopment projects, regional sports facilities, hotel and conference facilities for leading providers, large retail developments and high-profile health projects.
