Ian is a chartered architect with 20 years’ post-qualification experience in private commercial architectural practice. Since joining Box as an Associate Director, he has been responsible for managing teams to deliver key client projects and help deliver the strategic goals of the business. Ian is an experienced practitioner across all RIBA work-stages and has an extensive portfolio covering residential, senior living, industrial, retail, commercial, office and leisure developments. These include a mix of new-builds, refurbishments, conversions and fit-outs.
Notable projects include a leisure-led, mixed-use masterplan at one of the UK’s top resorts, a prestigious new educational facility and business school for a leading north-west university, a 550,000 sq ft conversion and fit-out for one the UK’s leading modular housing manufacturers, senior living projects across Yorkshire and many fit-out projects for high-profile national retailers. Ian is also an RIBA Part 3 examiner and former visiting practitioner for the University of Huddersfield.
