Izaak Barlow, Architectural Technologist

After honing his skills at a small architectural practice, Izaak joined his family’s company as an architectural technologist. Over a span of seven years, he accumulated extensive expertise in residential, industrial, and commercial projects using software like Revit and Autocad. Within this role, he spearheaded innovative designs for both private and commercial clients and assumed leadership of the firm’s residential project division, overseeing projects from initial feasibility assessments to their successful completion.

Among Izaak’s notable accomplishments were his involvement in the comprehensive refurbishment of 200 Coral Ladbrokes shops, as well as his contributions to the renovation of Romford Greyhound Stadium. On the residential front, he crafted a 3D model for four distinctive premium homes situated in the Yorkshire village of Drighlington, adjacent to protected green belt land. Here, he maximized available space by incorporating attic trusses and introduced abundant natural light through spacious rooflights. In another project in Lofthouse, he played a pivotal role in a larger residential development featuring 20 plots, where he meticulously created construction details for multiple house designs.

Upon joining Box, Izaak expanded his application of Revit expertise to larger-scale projects and deepened his understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM).
