Kate joined the Box Architects team in Leeds in January 2022 as an architectural assistant.
Prior to obtaining her BA (Hons) Architecture from Leeds Becket University, she gained experience during numerous work placements in the UK and the UAE. The latter included working on Foster + Partners’ Central Market project in Abu Dhabi, which comprised a major mixed-use development.
Kate developed further skills from taking part in major architectural competitions during her studies, such as the Edmund Bacon Competition in Philadelphia, in which her team were awarded second prize for the redesign of a 1,300-acre oil refinery site in the USA.
Kate has a keen interest in innovative design, modular design and sustainable technology, and has a developed skillset with a wide variety of architectural design software.
