Originally from Italy, Lorenzo Bernardi joined Box Architects in 2025, bringing with him a strong international background and a dual qualification as an architect in both Italy and the UK. He studied Urban Architecture and Civil Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, completing his professional qualification in 2022.
Lorenzo has worked across all RIBA stages on a range of residential, social housing, and educational projects in Italy, the UK, and the Middle East. His experience includes the refurbishment of university accommodation, the development of social housing schemes in London and Ireland, and large-scale educational campuses in Saudi Arabia.
He is particularly skilled in developing detailed technical packages and 3D visualisations, with a focus on BIM-integrated workflows. Lorenzo’s design approach is rooted in clarity, precision, and environmental responsibility, with a consistent emphasis on spatial quality and user experience
