It’s not an office. It’s a VW customer experience centre.
Box Architects have completed a high-end fit-out of a Leeds city centre site for global customer experience and outsourcing firm TTEC.
The fifth and sixth floors of the West Gate will be used by VW’s UK customer experience centre, which is being run by TTEC.
We were appointed by CBRE to provide architectural services for the Category B fit-out of the offices, which will house more than 300 workstations as well as break-out rooms, meeting rooms, talent acquisition facilities and staff training areas.
We worked collaboratively (although remotely during the height of the COVID-19 crisis) with the client and the project team to provide a contemporary design solution that complied with TTEC’s global design guide and local building standards.
In just a few months, we overcame the practical challenges of the pandemic restrictions to deliver (on time) a modern bright space.
The spaces have been designed with contemporary finishes, clean lines and bespoke joinery to provide a smart and comfortable environment. The communal facilities are designed with the company’s brand palette and combine porcelain tiles, oak surfaces, feature lights and ceiling details.

“We’re proud to have overcome all the challenges of the pandemic to complete a high-end fit-out in a tight programme.”
